Professional Standards

    Code of Professional Conduct

This Code defines the standards by which Bardowl Timber Supply, Bardowl Design, and Bardowl Consulting operate. It reflects our commitment to professionalism, responsibility, and long-term trust across all client, partner, and supplier relationships.

    1. Professional Integrity

Bardowl conducts business with honesty, accuracy, and accountability. We represent our capabilities clearly, avoid misrepresentation, and do not imply services, authority, or qualifications beyond those expressly provided.

We do not overstate performance, availability, or outcomes, and we communicate limitations transparently.

    2. Clear Scope & Responsibility

Bardowl maintains clear boundaries between advisory, design-support, and material supply services. We do not provide licensed engineering or architectural services unless expressly contracted through properly licensed professionals, and we do not assume contractor, construction management, or installation responsibilities. Materials are supplied strictly as specified unless advisory services are separately engaged. Final design approval, code compliance, and structural verification always remain with the project's licensed design professionals and contracting parties.

    3. Respect for Professional Roles

Bardowl works collaboratively with owners, builders, architects, engineers, suppliers, and logistics partners, respecting each party's role, authority, and accountability.

We do not undermine, bypass, or replace licensed professionals. Our role is to support clarity, coordination, and informed decision-making.

    4. Responsible Growth & Capacity Management

Bardowl intentionally limits workload to maintain quality, responsiveness, and reliability. We decline work when capacity, timelines, or project fit would compromise service standards. Growth is pursued deliberately and supported by experienced, trusted industry professionals.

    5. Transparency in Pricing & Costs

Bardowl is transparent in pricing structure and cost responsibility. All sales are project-based and governed by written terms. Payment, freight, tariffs, duties, and regulatory costs are disclosed and passed through as applicable. We avoid hidden fees and communicate cost drivers clearly.

    6. Ethical Supply & Sustainability

We prioritize responsible sourcing, proven manufacturers, and sustainable material strategies. Recommendations are guided by performance, longevity, and appropriateness, not incentives or volume targets. Sustainability is considered in both material choice and application.

    7. Safety, Logistics & Risk Discipline

Bardowl upholds high standards for logistics coordination and jobsite safety. Freight is coordinated intentionally and responsibly. Packaging, tarping, and load protection standards are enforced. Risk is identified early and addressed through communication, not shortcuts.

    8. Confidentiality & Trust

Information shared with Bardowl is treated as confidential and used solely for the purpose of providing services. We respect client, supplier, and partner confidentiality and do not misuse proprietary or competitive information.

    9. Professional Communication

We communicate clearly, promptly, and respectfully. Disagreements are addressed professionally and directly. We avoid reactive decision-making and prioritize constructive resolution.

    10. Commitment to Long-Term Relationships

Bardowl measures success by consistency, reliability, and trust over time. We value repeat relationships over transactional wins and conduct business with the expectation that today's decisions impact tomorrow's reputation.

This Code applies to all Bardowl entities, engagements, and representatives and may be updated periodically to reflect evolving standards and practices.
