Client & Partner Guide

    How We Work

A clear guide to how Bardowl operates across Consulting, Design, and Timber Supply, along with partner expectations, client onboarding, and answers to common questions.

    Three Services. Each Stands Alone.

Bardowl operates as an integrated but intentionally separated set of services. Client-support services to help align architectural intent, constructability, and material selection. All work is non-stamped design support, focused on real wood, glulam, and engineered wood systems. We coordinate with the licensed architect or engineer of record when applicable, with an emphasis on aesthetics, performance, and right-sizing.

Design services are engaged only when contracted and do not replace licensed professionals.

    Bardowl Consulting

    Advisory & Alignment

Bardowl Consulting provides strategic advisory services focused on communication, coordination, and decision-making. We work directly with owners, builders, and executives to align expectations around schedule and budget. This is advisory only, we hold no design or construction authority.

Consulting is most valuable when projects require clarity across stakeholders.

    Bardowl Design

Bardowl Design provides scoped design-assist and structural documentation. Non-stamped. Coordinated with the architect or engineer of record when applicable.

    Client Onboarding

What to expect when working with Bardowl.

Clear Scope. Each engagement begins with a clear definition of service: Supply, Design, Consulting, or a combination.

Professional Coordination. Bardowl coordinates materials and logistics carefully and communicates proactively.

Defined Roles. Structural review, code compliance, and final approvals remain with licensed professionals unless otherwise contracted.

Transparent Terms. Clients receive written terms covering scope, deliverables, assumptions, and payment before work begins.

    How to Succeed With Bardowl

The projects that go smoothly share a few things in common. Provide complete project information early. Communicate schedule constraints clearly so we can plan around them. Respect service boundaries, they exist to keep accountability clean. Prepare jobsites appropriately for delivery. And if clarity is missing, engage advisory services before it becomes a problem instead of after.

    Partner & Supplier Standards

Bardowl partners with suppliers, carriers, and collaborators who share a commitment to professionalism and reliability. We expect clear and prompt communication, respect for scope boundaries, adherence to packaging, tarping, and load protection standards, honesty about lead times with early notice of delays, and ethical, transparent operations across the board.

Bardowl values long-term relationships built on trust, consistency, and mutual accountability.

    Timber Supply Terms

All sales final; materials are project-specific, dropshipped, and sourced for defined applications. Freight is booked and coordinated by Bardowl Timber Supply. Tariffs and fees are passed through at actual cost. Damage must be documented at delivery; Bardowl assists with replacement coordination when applicable.
